New page on My Web Hosting company for anyone looking to find a good host, these guys have been great.. 3-4 months without a hitch... not even a minor hiccup. I'm impressed.... all the reviews on these guys seem to be pretty accurate and the CS is good just like they say.

Just for fun ... I thought I'd collect some of the wierder searches that have landed people on my sites... click here to see what people searched for.
Don't get caught with your pants down.. we all know how easy it is to think we are protected.. Don't find out the hard way that your not as secure as you thought you were. Try Kaspersky's online Virus Scanner tool and then consider their trial version... you won't regret it. Kaspersky have been around for a long time and are one of, if not theeeeee best AV product.

It will take a while to build this web section so be patient and keep checking back...

You don't have to be a webbie to make a decent site or have to settle for the generic templates on your host; all you have to be able to do is read and identify code objects and tags, then by trial and error mutilation.... you'll be able to modify pre-written code to make it work for you. There are loads of place you can get free scripts and code snippets to play around with. My first real attempt at HTML was modifying the ICQ code to include it on my site.

As long as you have notepad and a web browser you can modify your code... although I'd recommend using a WYSWIG for ease... and getting a good host will make so much difference as to what you can and can't achieve easily.

If anyone needs help with this just holler ..email details are on the contact page. The more confident you are with your graphics and web programs the more complicated and aesthetically pleasing your sites become.. don't be afraid to try new ideas out. Just make sure you back up the main site before you accidentally overwrite it or be sure to upload to a test folder.

I usually work out a visual rough in my graphics program of how I want my site to look then work from there figuring out how to splice my design to make the design elements work and still leave me with the content areas I need. Being able to use nested tables will make a huge difference to how creative you can be with your design without having to resort to framed pages. I'll explain more about that later as it takes a little bit of practice and "know how" to make it work properly... but it's no big secret, it's something everyone can do.
